November 13th is the anticipated bout between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito. This fight will answer some questions people have. Questions like, does Pacquiao still have the heart? Can Margarito erase his spotty past with a win? On paper this fight heavily favors Margarito. He is a natural junior middleweight and stands at 5’11” tall. Pacquiao is still considered a lightweight that isn’t a naturally heavy guy and stands at 5’6″.
It is said Margarito will come in about 20 pounds bigger on fight night. I honestly do not see this as a problem for Manny. His speed will win him the fight. I don’t think it will be easy for him. Margarito has been going hard and is determined to win. His trainer, Robert Garcia, is confident his fighter will get a late round stoppage. I can see it only if Antonio works the body relentlessly. If the fight is in the middle of the ring, it will be Manny’s night.
The last episode of 24/7 appears this Friday (11/12). The episodes thus far have shown Manny sidetracked and Margarito on track. Manny likes to multitask, juggling a lot of endeavors personally and professionally. Freddie Roach has shown his frustration just about every training session. Yet, they always seem to get the job done. I don’t think they have much to worry about. Winner: Manny Pacquiao by TKO.
