The Bulls are now 8-5 and have been looking solid. They took on the Lakers in Los Angeles on Tuesday but came up short. Despite the loss I think they played quite well. For being in LA, I thought Kobe and company would shut us out. Ronnie Brewer probably had the best play of the game with that reverse dunk. Rose was taking it hard to the bucket and even switched up hands. The fourth quarter is when the Lakers took over. Chicago couldn’t stop their ball movement. The three pointers were took much for the Bulls to handle. Steve Blake and Shannon Brown lit us up in the fourth. Chi-Town loses that one 98-91 in a well contested game.
On to Phoenix. I unfortunately missed this game last night. Thank God for highlights. The game pushed into overtime and did not expect that. Hakim Warrick is filling Amare Stoudemire’s role well. With Nash dishing him the ball, he’s almost unstoppable. Luol Deng is coming back alive. I knew he could get back into his groove. His jumper has been getting better over the past games. D-Rose was taking it hard to the basket as usual and for good reason. He burned Grant Hill a few times going in. Hill missed a decent look that could have won the game but instead goes to overtime. Jason Richardson missed a costly free throw that only gave them a 2 point lead. Rose lays in 2 to tie it up with only 0.1 seconds left! Wow. Now into second overtime where the Bulls take it 123-115. Great win. Next up is Denver on Friday.
