Creatine, a supplement that has been around for a long time. The reason for it’s longevity is because it works. I have used creatine on and off for a number of years now. I have found that pure creatine monohydrate with no added amino acids, caffeine or added ingredients works best. 5g everyday is all you need. This of course is just my opinion. Ironically, the product I am about to review has added amino acids in it. Six Star Nutrition is a line of sports supplements that do not empty your wallet. Some products on the market are frankly over priced and Six Star has affordable and quality stuff.
The nutrition facts are solid; 120 calories- 19g carbohydrates, low sodium 70mg and low sugar 5g. This creatine has creatine monohydrate and creatine HCI. The amino acids include L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine, glycine, L-arginine and L-methionine. When taking this, I felt a bit stronger and could last longer during jogs. The flavor is fruit punch and tastes mediocre. One flaw I have with Six Star is that they only have fruit punch flavored pre/post workout. Other than that, for $20, you cannot go wrong with Six Star’s Creatine X3.
